Dam Raised vs. Bottle Raised Kids-
Dam raised kids are ready for pick up between 8 and 10 weeks old. They are raised in the herd with their mothers and other goats. They are handled daily and remain extremely friendly.
Bottle raised kids are ready for pick up between 1 and 2 weeks old. They bond very closely with humans and do become extremely friendly. Bottle babies will only be sold to buyers with past bottle feeding experience. It is a very time consuming task that must be done properly.
Wethers will not come with ADGA registration or tattoos. All bucks and does will come with paperwork and tattoos. We do disbud all kids before leaving unless they are a bottle baby that leaves before horns start.
Seller makes no guarantees to health, color, height, reproduction, show quality, milk production, etc. We do not offer any health and wellness guarantees after the goat has left our property since we cannot account for treatment of said animals once out of our care. Travel and management changes are stressful to animals and the Buyer is encouraged to make changes to feed and environment slowly to reduce stress.
Seller guarantees animal is healthy at time of sale and Buyer has the option to review the condition and health of animal, including veterinary exams, at Buyer's expense.
All dam raised buck and doe kids will be disbudded, tattooed, vaccinated for CD/T and have coccidia preventative. Bottle raised kids will not be vaccinated when leaving due to age. Buyer will have option to bring them back when they are due.
All registration applications or certificates will be provided to Buyer at time of pick up.
All dam raised wethers will be disbudded, vaccinated, and castrated before leaving MAH Farm. All bottle raised wethers will be disbudded but will need to come back for vaccinations and castration, unless a vet receipt is provided for castration.
We reserve the right to retain any kid from any breeding.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell an animal at our discretion if we are not confident in the ability of the Buyer to provide adequate care for the animal.
Reservations require a non-refundable deposit equal to half the purchase price.
The Buyer is responsible for transportation of the animal and all associated costs. Seller assumes no responsibility for transportation arrangements, nor will the Seller be responsible for accepting or transferring funds intended for shipment of animals. Seller is not responsible for death or injury associated with transportation.
In the event of loss or injury to said animal(s) prior to arranged pick up date, Seller shall refund all deposits to Buyer.
We offer LIFETIME after-sale advice. If you need to call for help or guidance, do not hesitate to reach out. If you are no longer able to keep any animal purchased here, we will take it back, provided the health status of the animal matches the health status of our herd (CAE, CL and Johnes Free).
Upon breach of this agreement by either party, the other party shall have the option to terminate the sale.
